AI voice detector for videos: is this voice cloned?

A few seconds of someone's audio is enough to clone their voice. Fake endorsements, scam videos, leaders saying things they never said: our voice model listens to the soundtrack separately from the picture, so a real video with a fake voice doesn't slip through.

How it listens

The soundtrack is split into short windows, and a 95-million-parameter speech model checks each one for signs of a synthetic or cloned voice.

Signs of a cloned voice you can check yourself

Breathing that's missing or in odd places.
Sound that's too clean: no room echo or background noise that fits the scene.
Lips that drift out of sync with the words.
Stress on the wrong words, or the same rise and fall repeated sentence after sentence.

Honest limits

Voice cloning is improving fast, and voice detectors, ours included, catch the newest clones less reliably than AI-made pictures. Treat a voice result as one piece of evidence, and check where the video came from too.
